Surface of ingots, rods and pellets can be covered with protective paraffin or mineral oil layer or it shall be clean without any coating.

Types of package Cylindrical ingots are packed under argon in polyethylene aluminum-laminated bags which are welded and placed in bubble polyethylene packets. The latter are put in 210 dm3 steel drums which are then filled with dried argon. Prior to that, a protective polyethylene bag is inserted in a drum.
