In 1995 PJSC NCCP introduced Quality Management System (QMS) that guarantees fabrication of high-quality products, ensures not only a perfect marriage between goals and means for their achievement, but makes it possible to manifest it.
In 1995 — 2003 QMS was certified based on the International Standard ISO 9002:1994. Since November 2003, certification has been carried out for compliance with requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2000.
Upon implementation of the international standards, NCCP gained general acceptance in the domestic and international markets in several fields of its activities. This resulted in the requirement for integration of all introduced systems into a unified management system whose main target would be arrangement of all the necessary conditions for achievement of ultimate goals of the enterprise through fulfillment of the balanced requirements of the customers and all the parties concerned. This was the reason for implementation in June 2004 and certification of the integrated quality management system in the framework of ISO 9001:2000 and environmental management system ISO 14001:2004. The integrated system was certified and successfully recertified in 2007 by certification authority TUV CERT.
NCCP’s most valuable asset is qualification and efficiency of the personnel. Hence, conditions for productive labour and safe working conditions are of primary importance. These are guaranteed by .the system of health protection and occupational safety established at NCCP based on the International Standard OHSAS 18001:2007 and certified by TUV CERT in 2006.
In 2010 NCCP’s integrated management system was successfully re-certified for compliance with requirements of International Standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007.CONCEPT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
NCCP is a subsidiary of JSC TVEL (TVEL). The role of the latter is to establish a unified system for the whole cycle — from arrangements for the development of technical projects to realization of the nuclear fuel and associated nuclear and non-nuclear components. Hence, TVEL assumes full responsibility for the quality of the products supplied.
In 2007 TVEL carried out certification of the corporate quality management system which integrates quality management systems of all enterprises affiliated with TVEL. This made them more efficient, contributed to strengthening TVEL’s leading role in the international market, and created more favourable conditions for the activities under the pressure of intense competition.
In the framework of the concept for the development of quality management systems, in 2009 TVEL’s corporate system of environmental management was certified by TUV CERT. In 2010 the same body (under the new name TIC-TUV International Certification) carried out successful certification of the Corporate System for Labour Protection and Occupational Safety.
All three systems — for quality management, environmental management and occupational safety management — were certified by TIC in 2011 in the framework of the corporate quality management system.
Based on the audit results, a unified certificate of compliance of Corporate Integrated Management System with requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 was issued to JSC TVEL.
